This program designed for learners working within the public and private sectors, who are actively involved in governance. On successful completion of this programme, learners will add more value to their jobs and managerial capabilities. It will also provide the learner with the tools to design plans, including analysing what should be included in the plan, implement via various stakeholders, monitor and evaluate the plan on an ongoing basis to ensure that plan meets overall objectives of their institutions.
This programme is intended for learners who do not have formal training in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), but who have an embedded monitoring and evaluation function within a work profile.

- Identifying and analysing needs and situations in constituency and conceptualising possible development projects related thereto.
- Linking IDP (Integrated Development Planning) and PMS (Performance Management System) to the budget process of local government.

- Monitoring and reporting on the progress towards the achievement of targets and projects set out in the business plans, on a quarterly and annual basis.
