Reference: SK6288FA8B04BFB

Projects are the mechanism by which work gets done in both private and public sectors. Implementing new services, launching a community campaign, releasing new products, or rolling out a new training program can be thought of as project-driven work. If you are responsible for managing an initiative that has a start and end date, requires liaising with other departments, coordinating the team’s efforts, and delivering results, –you are running a project and you are a project manager. Project Management is the discipline and process of managing the end-to-end activities within a project life-cycle from the planning, monitoring, and control of all aspects of the project to budgeting, resource management and the motivation of all those involved; to achieve the project objectives on time and to the specified cost, quality and performance, in line with the strategic intent of the organisation. This programme will provide learners with the competencies needed to manage and perform their mandate as projects. Importantly, they will learn the fundamentals of managing events and their activities using project management skills.
